Competition Format:

The league is divided into two groups. Group placement was determined by Winter 1 final standings with the intention of creating two even groups. New teams were placed randomly. Each team opens the season with one friendly against a non-group team. Each team then plays 7 group matches to determine seeding for the first knockout round of playoffs. All 16 teams qualify for the first knockout round of playoffs.
