Operations Staff
Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Liberty Arena Operations Staff is responsible for all operations or event management that would occur within our facility. This encompasses Front Desk and Manager on Duty Staff , Operational staff through field marshaling and Event staff through birthday coordinators, event staff and fundraiser staff. In addition, this includes but is not limited to maintaining the cleanliness and overall aesthetic appearance of the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead by example and enforce rules accordingly
  • Maintain professionalism at all times
  • Able to work amiably within different departments of the company
  • Provide knowledgeable guest service to guests
  • Knowledgeable in facility operations and ability to perform each aspect efficiently
  • Correspond with prospective groups and guests
  • Awareness of the guests, community, trends, and facility offerings
  • Ability to adapt to guest needs/desires
  • Work individually in addition to a team environment
  • Ability to understand, learn, and utilize various computer based Audio and Visual systems
  • Ability to think quickly and rationally in times of emergency to prevent further problems
  • Communicate with Liberty affiliated clients by phone, e-mail and/or in person
  • Record all incidents encountered in incident report
  • Make sure all necessary paperwork is up to date
  • Follow up with guests to learn how the product(s) can be improved
  • Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by management
  • Monitor daily operations including:
    • Internal and external walk through
    • Facility Scheduling
    • Field Marshalling for all programs
    • Court and Field monitoring
    • POS System and Cash register Operation
    • Spot check all equipment and merchandise
  • Ensure facility provides a quality product to guests in all areas (cleanliness, food, service, leagues, and other events)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have strong leadership capability
  • Must have strong guest service skills
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be able to handle difficult situations and conflicts
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized
  • Must have strong time management skills
  • Must have good administrative skills
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Must be able to work well in a group setting
  • Must be observant and detail oriented
  • Ability to remain calm and focus in an emergency situation
  • Must be able to work irregular shifts that include, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects as heavy as 50 lbs.
  • Must have strong mathematical skills
  • Willing to participate in training sessions conducted by company
  • Previous experience in guest services related field
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Guest Services – Food & Beverage
Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Liberty Arena Food and Beverage Staff is responsible for work in concession area preparing food and at the front counter helping customers through the ordering process. Job duties include operating a cash register, cooking pizzas, hotdogs and other menu items, cleaning the restaurant, and completing other assigned tasks. This includes but is not limited to maintaining the cleanliness and overall aesthetic appearance of the facility.

  • Managing waiting lines during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
  • Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return

Camp Counselor
Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Liberty Arena Camp Counselor is a person who has the leadership skills to conduct a recreation based activity program. Liberty Arena Camps are a hands on experience involving working with young campers and teach them valuable leadership and life skills that will help develop the person and well help youth to realize their full potential. All camp counselors work together in order to bring forth the best out of each camper and ensure their experience is enjoyable. All camp counselors must be available to attend all scheduled training and be available to volunteer their time to learn all the Liberty Arena Camp Policies. Training covers issues and concerns that the counselor would encounter in camp life, including discipline, safety and awareness, being a role model, and creative planning. Upon filling out an application, interviews will be scheduled.
